transcosmos Launches Customer Communication Service using Facebook Messenger

Both Facebook and Messenger are highly convenient communication tools. Having as many as 900 million monthly users, Messenger is now used not only to enjoy conversation with friends and families but also for business purposes. In fact, over 1 billion messages are exchanged via Messenger between individuals and businesses every month.

With this new service, customers can make various inquires just by sending message to the company’s business account via Messenger. At the same time, businesses can streamline customer support tasks at their contact centers through utilizing features that enable single operator to respond to multiple customers (11 at maximum), accumulate response logs and reports.

To use the new service, users need a license for “Oracle Service Cloud”, the cloud application  application which supports customer service.
